The Resident season 1 review

For most of The Resident season 1, we’ve seen a battle raging between Conrad Hawkins and Nic Nevin against Dr. Lane Hunter. They know that she’s exposed many patients to excessive chemotherapy and with that, put Chastain at great risk for the sake of her own career benefit.

Tonight, The Resident episode 13 brought you a number of different cases that did their part to show you, in part, what was a new structure and hierarchy at the hospital. Remember now that Dr. Bell is in charge and, beyond just that, The Raptor is now a part of the staff.

The Resident episode 11 on Fox tonight proved to be a pretty powerful one when it comes to both hope and also hopeless for some of the different doctors. There ultimately two different orders of business here — trying to take down Dr. Bell and then, trying to also take down Dr. Lane Hunter.

The Resident episode 10 aired on Fox Monday night, and it was fairly clear from the get-go that just about every doctor was still struggling to cope with what happened with Lily at the end of this past installment.

If there was ever a chance to get to know better the character of Dr. Conrad Hawkins, it came about over the course of The Resident episode 9.

It’s hard to say precisely if The Resident episode 7 was written before or after the start of the Me Too movement but one thing felt fairly clear within the first half hour: This was the most relevant episode of the entire season to date.
