For those of you wondering what Sam Heughan will be doing during his Outlander filming hiatus, we come bearing some news.

You may have heard the news yesterday that Outlander season 4 is officially bringing in many new faces into the fold, and that is something that we certainly find to be tremendously exciting.

There are many people out there who love Outlander, but very few of them may love the series quite as much as those who work within Scotland’s tourism board.

Check out where Richard Rankin, Tobias Menzies, Sophie Skelton, and other Outlander actors will be submitted for the Emmys.

In today’s Outlander piece we are looking ahead, which is something that we do often like to do with filming for the current season almost at an end. After all, it seems as though the production team behind the scenes is doing the same thing!

Sam Heughan has been teasing a number of announcements as of late, and one of them included the development of his own whisky. He teased it briefly in an interview this week on This Morning, and earlier today he released a little more news in the form of a name: Great Glen Company.

We know there are always many questions out there about Outlander in relation to the Emmys, and one of the main goals in this particular article is to allow there to be a greater sense of clarity on the subject.
