NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 1 finale spoilers: Will the power come back on?
All season long on “Revolution,” fans have asked the question that is mentioned in this article’s title. However, we are finally coming close to having an answer to it. By the time Monday night’s season finale comes to a close, it would be a shock to end all shocks if we do not know whether or not the power is going to come back on.
There are a few moving pieces to the puzzle right now, beginning with what has happening specifically in level 12. We know that there are some hesitant to take the risk, mostly because they carry with them some understandable fear that turning the power back on would lead to there being even more problems than they ever imagined … such as the whole world getting set on fire.
Given that the show was recently renewed for a second season, we have a hard time imagining a situation where we watch the world become a towering inferno and everyone dies. (We can’t have a whole season about ghosts!) Instead, what we anticipate is that either the start-up will not work for some other reason, or we will be faced with the good news that the power is back up, but that there are a bevy of other problems that the world is going to be forced to deal with.
As for some other hopes for the finale, we’re looking forward to getting more clarity on Neville, seeing if Charlie can finally loosen up a little bit, and maybe even learning what happens if the power does come back. Where do these characters go now, especially after traveling without really having any sort of home?

Lets hope whatever happens happens to the Charlie character. The actress who plays her may be the worst ever… plus the character brings precisely nothing to the show except over-wrought, concerned, facial expressions.
