‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Who is coming between Chris Colfer, Darren Criss now?
We already know that Blaine has already found one way to cause problems in his relationship with Kurt on “Glee” season 4, and it all comes courtesy of a guy known only as “Eli C.” that caused the two to break up. Even though it looks as though there is hope that the two could be getting back together during the upcoming “Glee, Actually” episode, is that really the case? Well, the following story may force you into being a little bit nervous for the pair all over again.
According to a new report from Deadline, British actor Oliver Kieran-Jones has been cast to play the pivotal role moving forward on the show of the head of what is basically NYADA’s version of a glee club. Kurt is going to be a part of the school now that he has been accepted in for the winter semester, and this is someone who will be both a mentor and a love interest to him. Does anyone else see parallels here to how Kurt first met Blaine? They are pretty obvious (at least to us) at the moment.
Kieran-Jones’ only major American credit at the moment is the Showtime series “Episodes,” and his current deal is actually rather similar to what Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet had when they both joined back in season 2: he is listed as a recurring player for the rest of the year, but depending on the success of the part and whether the writers come up with anything new for him, he could be promoted at some point down the road to a full-time regular.
What do you think about this casting, and are you already worried about the status of Klaine moving forward? If you want to watch the first preview for the “Glee, Actually” episode, you can do so over at the link here.

I love Darren Criss. I think he is an amazing actor, singer, dancer, and just awesome at everything all at the same time! I like Chris Colfer too and I think he is a good actor and can sing, and him and Darren and a double threat. I love them and Kurt and Blaine and I am a true Klaine fan.
Part of me does not want to see Kurt nor Blaine date anyone else, but I know that that is a little unrealistic and we need angst. I don’t mind Kurt dating so much as he was the one cheated on but I do want Blaine to try to win him back. It does seem interesting that this new guy seems to be in a similar situation as Darren was a couple years ago, so who knows what will happen. If they will keep this new guy for Kurt. But I do hope they will have Blaine, at the very least, not happy that Kurt is dating again. Sure Blaine can date too but I think to keep the angst going, they need to somehow be in each other’s orbit and never fully like that the other is dating someone else.
I truly hope they put Kurt and Blaine back together as to me, despite Kurt being hurt, I think he still loves Blaine. And even as of the Glee, Actually episode, even though they might just be friends right now, it is so obvious that Blaine is so still in love with Kurt. It is just hard for me to imagine that Blaine would ever truly be over Kurt. The writers have always written Blaine as just totally head over heels for Kurt and that is how Darren portrays and has always portrayed Blaine since they were first together. Blaine truly loves Kurt. And I like to think, given time, Kurt will be able to forgive and trust his heart back to Blaine again. It will take time and Blaine will need to work for it, but I do think it can happen.

I want Klaine to be end game.
Darren Criss is amazing as an actor and singer and I love him! He writes his own music and watched a video recently that showed how Darren Criss changes into Blaine’s character, and it was amazing to watch. He is so good. Colfner is too, he is good I will admit, some of his songs I like, sometimes not so, but when you see him interview, it’s like watching a Kurt interview rather than the actor Colfner. I don’t think he is as good an actor as Darren but he is still one of my favourite characters and he is an amazing character.
As for the whole dating thing? I want Kurt to date, I want Blaine to date too (Pretty Please) and towards the end of the series suddenly realise that they belong together, because I truly believe they do just like Finn and Rachel annoyingly belong together too.
But for now, I am just happy they are talking and friends, Kurt has achieved one of his big dreams which I am so thankful for, it’s about time Kurt got his way and got what he wanted, and Blaine is becoming the Blaine I know and love again.

i agree with some of the comments but they needed to graduate these original 8 characters what do we expect to have them be in high school forever that would just be real boring. We need to give the new characters a chance to develop no one can expect people to start out have have the dynamic that the other ones did it took 3 seasons for these guys to have the chemistry they have. any1 that expects that they should all be great right of the hook, come one people give them sometime to grow. there is always some1 saying im done with glee, in the case how can you say u are a true glee fan, well your not true fans STICK WITH THEIR SHOW NO MATTER WHAT.

Great to hear about Kurt dating again. I will love to see Kurt have some romance in New York. I hope that Kurt seeing other guys will prompt Blaine to get figuring out how to win Kurt back. I would love to see Blaine actually pursuing Kurt and bringing back that some of that confidence and courage Blaine used to have in season 2.

I had read something about a Paul for Kurt. I was alll NO! My
Favorite part of the show was Klaine. But it would also suck
If Kurt just rolled over and forgave him. We say forgive him but if
Kurt was our real friend we’d say if he did it once he’ll do it again.
Although Blaine prob learned his lesson. I agree about Marley, she’s
boring. Jake kinda is too. Not the same material as the original Puck
who actually is believable as a lady’s man. It seems they just tried to
replace all the original. Kitty/Quinn, Unique/Kurt &Mercades, Marley/Rachel
Rider/Finn, Jake/Puck. I also agree Blaine was overused, and he took
alot of time away from the others but I got my fill weekly of all his hotness. I LOVE Blaine the most and miss hearing him sing and see that face! This sad Blaine breaks my heart! In the end we all hope they get back together.

I’m sorry but I remember a specific time when Darren Criss got to always do songs and Chris Colfer was the one underused. Chris Colfer is the Star of that train-wreck of a show along with Lea Michele. They are the best actors on there. Chris Colfer is finally getting to sing and act which was given to Darren, in my opinion, way too darn much. The first time I watched the show I fell in love with Kurt and that is because the actor who plays him is a REAL actor. Darren Criss can’t hold a candle to the full talent of Chris Colfer. Chris can write movies and books, act, produce, sing, and most importantly emote in song. Finally he’s getting much more to do and that’s the only thing about the show I like anymore except for Lea, because she’s fantastic.

I’m done with Glee. It was bad enough that the creators of Glee ‘graduated’ 8 of their original glee club members, because the truth is, one of the great things about Glee’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd season, was the dynamics & interaction as a whole among the original cast (they could be hysterical in alot of the episodes during 1st 3 seasons. But far worse, is that Darren Criss who is the most talented ‘star’ I’ve seen in decades has become organized & unused and what a waste that is. If he’s not singing on Glee, I’m not watching. Last nights episode was the 3rd episode for this season, in which ‘Blaine’ was barely on screen, much less singing front and center. Darren Criss is a triple threat (incredible singer, dancer and actor with so much amazing talent with his comedic timing).
I’m unable to get into the new characters. And frankly, I don’t care about about any of the rest of this new cast, other than Darren Criss. I finally figured out why I can’t get interested in Marley after last nights show. Marley is a good singer, but she’s clearly there in place of ‘Rachel’. But here’s the difference between Rachel and Marley. You either hated Rachel or loved her, she was ‘human’, warts and all so to speak. She made many poor choices while she was in the high school, mostly blinded and singularly focused on being a ‘start’. But Marley has no personality. She’s boring. And the switching back and forth between NYADA and Mckinnley HS cuts every single cast members air time. It’s like the creator’s of Glee are trying to appease all the fans by keeping 2 separate ‘show within a show’, but in doing that, they are not pleasing ANYONE

I wasn’t aware Darren Criss was dating Kurt Hummel. There’s a fourth wall breakdown if I ever saw one.
