Arrow season 6 update: The latest step towards production
In a post on Twitter, the show’s production office confirmed that they are back at work after some time off! That means that they can start to prepare some of the sets for the new season, work on the costumes, and do all of the other little odds and ends that are so integral to ensuring that this show gets off the ground at full speed moving into a pivotal time for the show.
As for getting some more news on what the production team is working on, good luck with that given that the only thing we know is that Liam Yu was just blown up by Adrian Chase and presumably, most of the people on it are somehow going to survive. This was a bold way to end the season, but it’s easy to respect the move since it creates challenges for the writers and creates high stakes over the summer. Sure, someone could just come out and say that most people are going to survive, but there is something about the movie magic of making everyone think as though everyone could be dead. For more of the casual fans of the show who don’t go online and read up about it, there is probably a good bit of mystery and fun that comes along with it.
For those wondering, the cast and crew of Arrow should be back in Vancouver next month to begin work on the show. The CW announced recently that it will premiere once more in October. There is no word on a Big Bad yet, but we would imagine that some of this news could come out more at San Diego Comic-Con unless the show wants to try to play the American Horror Story game of not telling anyone a detail in advance in hopes of keeping it under wraps. That may be a challenge even bolder than trying to stop the bombs from killing everyone on the island.
