‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Ready for a road trip?

The ninth-season premiere of “The Big Bang Theory” is going to air on CBS starting on Monday, September 21, but today we’re going to fast-forward a little to another early episode that will contain a variety of other fun moments.

Who doesn’t love it when some of the guys take a road trip? None of them are particularly great navigators, so you have that for entertainment value coupled with the fact that Sheldon of course has a knack for grinding anyone’s nerves when he spends more than a few minutes with them. Based on what executive producer Steve Molaro tells Entertainment Weekly about where the guys are heading, it definitely looks like there is plenty of time available for him to pester Leonard, Raj, and Howard if they all end up going on this particular trip:

“There will be a fun road trip to Mexico for the guys early on … The road trip will be taking place in [the late theoretical physicist] Richard Feynman’s van and it will actually be Richard Feynman’s real-life van that we have access to — his actual van from the ’80s with the equations that he had painted on the outside of it.”

Hopefully by the time this episode airs, we will have some answers to a series of other important questions, including whether or not Sheldon and Amy can work out the problems in their relationship, and if Leonard and Penny can start to settle in after their impromptu trip to Las Vegas. We don’t want to spoil for you here whether or not these two get married in the premiere, though Molaro has already revealed the answer publicly.
