‘Wayward Pines’ episode 6 preview: Moving past the big reveal with ‘Choices’

While you may debate whether or not “Wayward Pines” ended up giving you a wonderful reveal Thursday night, we’re at least going to give them some credit for being ridiculously brave. So many shows act scared of making a crazy move, but this one really blew the doors off and did something that we never anticipated happening in a million years.

With this in mind, it makes almost everything crazier going into the next new episode “Choices.” What happens next after we learned that we are a good 2,000+ years in the future? These people are used to help preserve the human race, but how they are going to do that yet is not entirely clear. Given that the synopsis below was revealed before the episode tonight aired, it sides much more in the realm of ambiguity:

“Pines and learns more about the history and how the residents ended up in the eerie town. Meanwhile, at the realty office, Theresa finds a map of an unusual plot of land she wants to investigate and Kate and Harold are planning a covert operation.”

Throughout the second half of this season, what we imagine now is that we start to piece together answers on many other burning questions, including just how some of these people arrived, why they are there beyond just the car accidents and the “hibernation,” and if there is any way that all of this can be pulled off and tied together.
