ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3, episode 9 preview: What can Kerry Washington, Jeff Perry do next?
Is it fair to say that Thursday night’s “Scandal” season 3 episode was just a little bit crazy? You better believe it. Not only did we have Olivia and Fitz starting to make some moves to get them closer to being a couple again, but she also had a pretty startling revelation at the tail end of the hour: Not only was her mother alive, but she was standing before her on the street.
So what in the world happens from here on out? This is of course a great question, but one that you’ll have to wait for at least a little while longer to find out an answer to. Thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday, there’s no new episode on next week. Instead, the December 5 episode “YOLO” (ugh with that name) will hope to answer most of the questions that you have. We really hope that it does provide quite the service for you, given that we are just about at the end of the winter half of this season. As a matter of fact, this is going to be the start of the “winter finale event.” Don’t necessarily take that for sure to mean the winter finale itself.
The synopsis below is vague, but after tonight’s episode you may understand at least some of it a little bit:
“As the team gets closer to the truth, loyalties are tested and relationships are pushed to the limit. Meanwhile, Cyrus has to deal with his own crisis and he realizes that he may have gone too far.”
We imagine that for Jeff Perry’s character that “crisis” is probably that he pretty much ushered his husband to be with another man in order to get what he wanted out of it. Pretty messed up, right? The only thing more messed up is the sight in the promo below of Huck licking Quinn as he looks to begin some pretty awful torture of her, and this is really all coming as a response to her getting herself way too involved with all of the wrong people. Huck’s not a horrible guy if you’re on his side, but this is the last person that you want to cross in a million years.
