‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: A Colin O’Donoghue poster, a new title

Take a look -Love “Once Upon a Time“? In order to help get you excited even more about the show returning to ABC on Sunday, September 29 (and to potentially help you get over more of the sadness associated with some pretty depressing new promo pictures), the marketing department has at least stepped it up a little bit with the latest promotion poster focusing on Colin O’Donoghue’s Captain Hook.

The best part about the picture? That you actually have to look for a minute to even see the hook, and it could almost be symbolic in a way of looking past an imperfection, whether it be literal or symbolic. This could just be us projecting what we want to see onto the poster, but we like this idea quite a bit. It helps to overshadow the random sword that is there or the moon that is so gigantic that it’s hard to really focus on anything else.

Given that we have never really found this version of Captain Hook all that sinister, we don’t have a hard time imagining that he could end up becoming one of the bigger heroes of the season. While he wants revenge against Rumpelstiltskin more than anything else he has also shown a certain fondness for Emma Swan. If he thinks that acting kinder on his end and showing a more heroic side could get him closer to being with her, perhaps he could try to change. Of course, even with this we question whether or not it would be permanent.

We will close here with this: According to a post from executive producer Adam Horowitz on Twitter, the seventh episode of the season (which follows up “Ariel”) is going to be entitled “Dark Hollow.” Speculate on that one below!
