‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: The latest new addition is…

There are so many hallmarks when it comes to what makes “Game of Thrones” a great series, from the acting to the writing to some of the beautiful sets that are created by producers. However, one that we think that does not get so much attention as some of the other facets is the incredible ability of the casting directors to find young up and coming stars who don’t feel like many of the traditional young actors grabbing headlines with their crazy antics.

According to a casting agency post (per show news site Winter is Coming) Octavia Alexandru has been cast in what is for now a very mysterious role on the show. All we know is that she is a 10-year old actress, and her specialty is (natch) trying to play the part of a character in that 8-12 range.

The producers are going to start shooting season 4 episodes within the next few weeks, with production swinging all over the place from Northern Ireland to Iceland to once again Croatia. If there are some other places in which filming could occur, they have not been announced yet. (Stay tuned, since they probably will be by the time summer is over.)

The only official casting thus far has been the announcement of the Red Viper, a key player in what comes next within the world of King’s Landing. He will have an ax to grind with many of the characters there, and he will waste no time in making his presence felt.
