‘Last Man Standing’ season 2 spoilers: Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Tim Allen reunite

ABCYou knew that if “Last Man Standing” stayed on the air long enough, we were going to see more “Home Improvement” reunions after the arrival of Richard Karn earlier this year. With that in mind, get ready to smile as the legendary sitcom’s breakout star is looking to make his TV comeback.

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Jonathan Taylor Thomas is going to be guest-starring on an episode of the ABC sitcom set to air in either March or April. Specifically, he will be taking on the role of a high-end restaurant manager, where Kristin Baxter applies for a job. At the moment, he is only booked for a one-episode role on the show, but it could very likely be extended depending on how much the producers and the network feel about his performance.

Like many other child stars, Thomas found the road tough once the post-“Home Improvement” fame started to fade. He has not appeared in a credited role sine 2006, but the good news for him is that he was such a big name once that he could pick it up again and be just fine. Plus, he’s also young enough at 33 to still have a successful comeback and career ahead of him.

We’re just going to put this out into the universe right now: why not have JTT do “Dancing with the Stars”? Any woman between the ages of 24 and 30 probably not only remembers him, but possibly had a crush on him at one point. He’s the sort of guy who you really wonder what happened to him, and could do rather well being introduced to an audience on this show.
