‘All My Children’ spoilers: Vincent Irizarry poised to return as Dr. David Hayward
After posting so much in the way of bad news pertaining to “All My Children” for quite some time, it almost feels strange to be sharing something that gives fans of the long-running former ABC soap a reason to smile. However, it is happening, and the recent news of deals between Prospect Park (the company trying to revive the show online) and individual unions suggests that the comeback may actually be real this time.
To go along with this, we have some casting news that is coming via one of the show’s former stars. In a new statement on his official Facebook page, Daytime Emmy Award-winner Vincent Irizarry first confirmed that he will be returning to the show as Dr. David Hayward (at least so long as this revival actually happens this time), and he is thoroughly excited to see what sort of stories could unfold mow moving forward:
“Excited to bring dastardly Dr. David back to life, as he did for so many others, and to see my dear friends in Pine Valley once again … A great, big thank you to all the fans for your tenacity in keeping the hope alive. You’re awesome!!! Let’s all keep our fingers crossed together that it becomes a reality.”
There is still no comprehensive list as to who could end up coming back to “All My Children,” and the fact that the show is almost a year and a half removed from being on TV makes it even more difficult to figure out just who is going to even be available to return. Prospect Park is hoping to launch the shows at some point in 2013, but no firm date has been set.
If you want to read some more news that should give hope to “One Life to Live” fans, all you have to do is visit the story over at the link here.

What great news, AMC and OLTL coming back! Growing up with both of the soaps watching them with my mother and grandmother just seemed like part of our day. I felt like it was an extended family and now am hopeful to bring back two soaps that mean so much to me. Thank you, Ms. Nixon for your desire to keep AMC and OLTL alive as I felt the void with my day to day life as so many other dedicated fans.
