The Bachelorette spoilers: Is Tayshia Adams officially new lead?

Tonight on The Bachelorette, we knew that we were going to be saying goodbye to Clare Crawley as the primary lead of this season. The question that came with that, of course, was what would happen in the event that she left. Who would step into that spot?

For months now, the rumors have all circulated around Tayshia Adams being brought in as the new lead for the season. That was largely confirmed when Tayshia emerged from the pool last week. The question that came after the fact here was simply one all about how Tayshia was going to be introduced, and also whether or not some of Clare’s remaining guys were going to stick around to be a part of whatever was coming up next.

As we closed the episode tonight, we finally started to get some glimpses of Tayshia. She clearly was in the bubble leading up to Clare’s departure — so this was something that the producers were well aware of as a possibility in advance. The guys had some apprehension, but there was clearly some eagerness among them to see what else would happen.

Will Tayshia be able to find love in such a short period of time? That is the big question that is worth wondering about right now, especially since this will probably be a shortened season. Then again, we do recognize that it worked for Clare and Dale…
