Casey – The first part of this feels pretty obvious, given that the man has to find a way to get out of that apartment somehow! On the other side of that, though, we hope that he does draw whatever conclusions he needs to about Naomi and figures out his future. We’re not altogether certain that this is something that he’s altogether ready for.
Severide – Start to actually realize that he needs to let someone in — most notably, Stella. This is a real sea-change moment for Kelly, given that he’s at a point in his life now that he cannot continue to push people away and expect anything to get better. He has to actually show consistent growth and while he’s been through a lot, eventually he does need to give someone else something.
Brett – The relationship with the Chaplain seems to be blossoming, but more so than just that we want to have a chance to actually explore more of Brett’s past. Luckily, it seems like that’s going to happen when the Valentine’s Day episode takes you to her hometown.
Boden – Can he actually have some stability at Firehouse 51 for a while? Rather than just giving us another story about some leadership issues higher up on the food chain, we’d rather put the focus in the immediate future on what is happening for Boden personally.
Herrmann – There’s still a lot of meat on the bone for Herrmann in his new position of Lieutenant, and our personal hope is that the show is going to find some new and potentially-fun ways to explore this a little bit more moving forward.
Otis – Where are things at now when it comes to his relationship with Lily? They’ve been together for long enough that it does feel like time for some sort of larger commitment. At the very least, it would be a fun idea to see Otis explore whether or not he is ready to take the next step.
Cruz – With Cruz, the priority really just needs to be making sure that Chloe is okay and finding some stable ground in their relationship. She clearly cares about him, but the relationship is still new and there are things that they need to learn about each other still.
Stella – It’s been nice to see a little bit of her past explored, and in the midst of the Severide crisis, it’d be great to see her have some scenes with someone unexpected where she can vent and get some advice. Basically, find a sounding board like Kelly did have at times with Foster.
Emily – Can we get a chance to explore a little bit more of her personal life? It seems like she’s got an interesting one, but given that she is still new there haven’t been a whole lot of opportunities to really dive into it yet.
Mouch – If we cannot get too many big stories for Trudy over on Chicago PD, how about bringing her over here and her and Mouch having some sort of big story together?
