Floribama Shore season 2 episode 20 video: Taking the leap

While many shows may be taking a break for the holidays, rest assured that Floribama Shore is not one of them! The series will be returning to MTV with another new episode on Thursday, and while the cast remains in Cabo, tension and drama could come to a full boil.

As the promo below teases, the #1 reason to watch this episode is going to be the continued escalation of things when it comes to Kortni, Gus, and Nilsa. As you’ve seen over the past few weeks, Nilsa and Gus have almost a soap-opera romance going on at the moment. She’s got feelings for him, but it seems like she is pursuing him more than he is pursuing her. Maybe they’re just in different places and that’s fine, but shouldn’t Gus be a little more cognizant of how she is feeling? Also, shouldn’t Kortni? When Gus and Kortni get close in this upcoming episode, Nilsa’s going to be a little bit less than pleased — as a matter of fact, she goes so far as to call the entire situation her “worst nightmare” in a confessional. The bad news for Nilsa is that we don’t exactly foresee an end to the conflict in this episode. We’re so close to the end of this episode and it is probably going to continue to be at the core of this story for almost every single second.

For those of you who don’t love relationship drama, there is something rather-dangerous coming in this episode, as well! This installment will mark an opportunity to see some cast members conquer some of their fears while taking a death-defying leap. It’s the sort of thing that we’ve seen on about a thousand reality shows over the years, but it does somehow still work as compelling television! It really comes down to whether or not you care for some of the cast members who are potentially conquering some of their fears. If they can get you on board for the emotional journey, we consider it to be a successful play. We are fully on board for it here (especially for Candace) and with that, there’s a lot to enjoy about this story from start to finish. (Also, it’s pretty clear that nobody died — if something terrible had happened, wouldn’t we have heard about it by now in some sort of news broadcast? We like to think so.)
