Following tonight’s episode, our early expectation is that Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 3 is going to be insanely good. How can it not be? You’ve got multiple alliances, immunity idols, and interesting players from top to bottom. Early indications are that we’re in for a good season.
Moving forward, Jessica’s blindside could cause a ripple effect, especially since some of her allies like Carl, Davie, and Bi did not see this coming in the slightest. Carl is going to break down after losing one of his allies, but he’s going to have to find a way to pick himself up by his bootstraps and move forward.

Also on the David tribe, be prepared next week for a strengthening of the Gabby – Christian alliance, which may be one of our favorites to watch. Two Survivor nerds working together is a relatable viewer’s dream, and we do hope that it lasts for at least a little while this season.
Meanwhile, over on the Goliath tribe there is a different story playing out thanks to Dan’s idol. He should have hidden it, given that Jeremy now has found it and with that, this is information that he can use to turn people against him. The only real question here is whether or not this tribe is going to be voting someone out anytime soon, given that to date, they’ve been incredibly dominant in challenges and it’s not exactly easy to envision that changing in the near future.
Be sure to come back tomorrow, as we’re going to have a full exit interview with Jessica!
