Bull season 2 finale promo: Is Elliott guilty, and is Bull falling apart?

Bull season 2 finale

CBS released the first Bull season 2 finale promo on Tuesday night following the latest new episode, and based on what we’re seeing from it, the life of Dr. Jason Bull as we know it may be over.

After all, let’s just put it like this: He’s in the midst of a personal crisis while at the same time also wrestling with what is one of the biggest cases of the entire life. He’s struggling with drinking, he’s not listening to his colleagues, and he just got arrested and spent a little bit of time behind bars. Ultimately, he’s not doing well. You can attribute it to the workload just as you can attribute it to what’s going on at the moment with Isabella Colon getting re-married. One way or another, Bull has to get his you-know-what together in a very limited amount of time.

After all, the fate of one Elliott Miles is clearly resting on his ability to get himself together in a very limited period of time. At the end of tonight’s episode, Bull and Benny’s efforts to get the case declared a mistrial didn’t quite work. While there was some evidence and testimony that was ultimately thrown out, that doesn’t take away from the life-or-death situation at the heart of the case. If Elliott is found guilty, he dies — not only that, but Bull has to deal with the fact that some of what he’s done in taking on the case could sit on his conscience. That is going to be tough on him and beyond that, it’s going to be tough on everyone in the team.

One other interesting thing to remember at the moment entering the finale is simply this: Marissa is in therapy and through that, she may realize that she’s devoting way too much time to this job. Don’t be surprised if she contemplates her own future at the end of the case. Overall, we’re set up for something big here.
