MacGyver season 2 episode 17 spoilers: Who’s keeping a secret from Matty?
The episode that we’re talking about here is “Bear Trap + Mob Boss,” the upcoming installment set to air on Friday, March 9. This is an episode that is going to be interesting for a few different reasons, starting with the fact that you’re seeing a high-stakes mission involving mobsters and Chernobyl of all places. If you have characters who are going to this sort place, one thing feels pretty safe to say: They’re going to be confronting some significant danger.
Meanwhile, the MacGyver season 2 episode 17 hints at a very fun story when it comes to Bozer and Matty Webber:
“Bear Trap + Mob Boss” – Mac, Jack and Riley set out to find a mobster-turned-informant after he’s kidnapped and taken to Chernobyl by an international crime boss who’s worried he will deliver incriminating information to the CIA. Also, Bozer struggles to keep a secret from Matty, on MACGYVER, Friday, March 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Is Bozer going to be able to keep a secret from Matty, someone who has a real skill at sniffing out secrets? There is going to be, most likely, some fun that stems from this. How ironic would it be that Matty sent Bozer over to spy school to be able to keep secrets more, only for him to come back and then use some of what he learned against her? (Hey, at least we’d know for sure that some of that training worked…)
There, unfortunately, anything within this synopsis that resolves three of the biggest MacGyver mysteries we’ve got at the moment.
1. Where is MacGyver’s dad? – We feel like we’ll meet the guy eventually, but that’s probably more a finale / season 3 story than something we’re getting right now.
2. What’s the connection between Matty and MacGyver? – This feels like something we’ll get a little bit more insight before in between now and whenever the story of Mac’s father hits its own peak.
3. Where is Samantha Cage? – We’ve written about the subject many times, and Isabel Lucas still remains listed in the main cast. Yet, there is no evidence she will appear in this episode.
