The Vampire Lestat season 3: Who is Regina, really?

The end of The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 3 introduced a lot of ideas and also raised a number of big questions — especially when it comes to Regina. Who is she really, and what will she bring to the world of the show?
Well, in a situation like this, it is worth starting off by just sharing a few of the base details. We are talking here about a waitress at a diner who looks just like Claudia would had she been allowed to age a few years. Delainey Hayles is coming back to play the new part, which is honestly a great way to re-use a performer in a style similar to what this show is. There is a chance that she could help to heal Louis to a certain extent — but that comes with a risk. After all, we still know next to nothing about her other than her job, and that does raise a wide array of different questions!

In speaking more about where Louis is at present after this episode, here is some of what Jacob Anderson had to say to TV Insider:
“I was going to say he’s addicted to grief…I think that is true to an extent, but how do you ever un-grieve? … I think that something that’s really unique about this show and about this story is that it’s not just about tying up loose ends. This is a conversation we’ve had. With Louis, I’m like, you just so beautifully rounded everything off, but then, and then! They live forever. You have to sit in your psychological s–t all the time. The residue’s gonna…”
To make things all the more chaotic now, the residue could impact someone in Regina who is seemingly unrelated to all of this carnage. What we are trying to say here is that what we could be seeing throughout the season are a series of ripple effects, and who knows just where they will go?
