The Bachelorette spoilers: This Peter Kraus – Rachel Lindsay swoonworthy date

Peter Kraus - Rachel Lindsay

Monday night’s new episode of The Bachelorette is going to make you smile … and also swoon in the process. There’s something really cool about the location of their date in the Swiss Alps, coupled with the intimate connection that the two parties have and the feelings that are so obviously there with the two of them.

Think of the latest sneak peek for this episode as a nice little encapsulation as to why these two are so popular, and also why Peter is the perfect Bachelor contender if for whatever reason he doesn’t end up with Rachel at the end of this season. The two of them do have a really strong connection, but we can see him building that with other people. He just shows consistently in here how caring he is, and how he does still carry with him a sense of whimsy that this process could work, even if it is so over-the-top and laced with production and dramas.

Peter at the moment is super-popular for a reason, and we think a big part of that comes within suspension of belief. There are contestants who come on this show who legitimately feel like they’re above it all, or there to get Instagram followers or there to be a villain. The best people are the ones who have self-awareness, but also a willingness to give in to the show here and there and the paces they’re put through. Peter is reminiscent of Sean Lowe and Ben Higgins in that regard, which is great in that these two guys are two of the better stars of The Bachelor that the show has had over time. In the years since we’ve started covering the show in Jake Pavelka’s season, these two are probably the two best ambassadors of the brand that they’ve had. Granted, ABC has also made some rather questionable choices for this role in retrospect, whether it be two tours for Brad Womack or the hot mess that was Juan Pablo Galavis. (Obviously, the show couldn’t predict the terrible incident with Chris Soules, so it’s not fair to lump him in here.)

As great as things do seem between Peter and Rachel in this preview, there is one thing you have to remember here — another preview that aired recently for Monday’s episode showing that there could be trouble on the horizon. Even though The Bachelorette does have a storied history of hyping things up that don’t actually come to pass in the way that they are presented, you nonetheless do have to worry about these sort of things.

If you head over to the link here, you can see some of what’s coming on Monday night’s episode for Rachel and Bryan Abasolo, a guy who brings a ton to the table — however, Rachel will still question whether or not he’s actually too perfect and there is a deeper problem she’s not seeing.
