The Bachelorette spoilers: On Rachel Lindsay, Bryan Abasolo, & doubts
The sneak peek below for this episode is coming to you via People Magazine, and one of the immediate takeaways from this is that Rachel and Bryan have a good thing going. There is a ton of passion in their relationship — clearly, the two care a lot about each other, but there’s also a big problem. Namely, this said problem is that they are almost too perfect and have found themselves in a passionate relationship almost too quickly. This is something that scares Bryan. Why? It’s similar to what happened in the past with him, and it’s something that he is concerned about going into a more serious relationship with her. He doesn’t want to be in a position where that happens again, and it’s understandable why: He cares about Bryan, and doesn’t want to see things end here in the same way that they once did.
Here’s the good news for Rachel and Bryan: There is almost zero reason for this relationship to not last until hometown dates. Clearly, she’s into him, and we feel like everyone who is a part of the show knows that. He’s got almost everything that she is looking for at the moment in that he’s smart, he’s accomplished, he’s attractive, and he’s definitely into her. Maybe this really is just a situation where he hasn’t found the right person just yet. Maybe Rachel is surprised that he is still single, but for one reason or another, whatever happened got him to this point.
Odds are, Bryan’s a lock for hometown dates if he wants to be there just on the virtue of his relationship with Lindsay so far. Also, remember the people who are left in Rachel’s top 6. Even if things go badly between these two — and it doesn’t seem to — is she really going to pick Matt or Adam over Bryan when he hasn’t spent almost any time at all with them beyond group dates? That seems unlikely, and even they more than likely know that.
