Into the Badlands season 2 episode 8 promo: How loyal is Sunny?
Before we get around to the finale, though, there’s clearly a lot of ground that the show has to cover. We’re going to see bonds start to break, questions abound, and overall a sentiment that we could see internal struggles just as much as external ones over the course of the next hour. Sunny may have to do a little bit of checking himself before he wrecks himself, to use one of the oldest analogies possible that really dates us.
Below, we do have a little bit more in terms of insight as to what’s coming.
Into the Badlands season 2 episode 8 synopsis – “Sunny plays a dangerous game, causing his friends to question his loyalty. Meanwhile, the Widow discovers the existence of a new weapon as her alliance falters.”
We’re all for this show continuing to find new ways to stir things up when it comes to character relationships, largely because that’s what you need to do in season 2 of the show. As awesome as the fight sequences are, over time you probably take them for granted. It’s some of the battle sequences that will stick with you for a while.
Promo – How do you lure the Widow out into the open? This is one of the questions that the promo raises before basically giving you the solution to it. The final seconds of this preview, at least before the “check out more” portion of it, are all sorts of electric and awesome. They do also illuminate further some of our own hyperbole, given that we proclaim that the show needs to be wary of its battle sequences starting to become routine while we sit here gushing about how great this one is. Maybe some of that stems from the fact that we’re still (fairly) early in the series’ run and there is absolutely nothing else like this on TV.
