‘Supergirl’ spoilers: Looking for understanding on Hank Henshaw

Through the first several episodes of “Supergirl” season 1, the character of Hank Henshaw has been presented in a variety of different lights. The character began as an employee of the DEO, and someone who could be a valuable asset to Supergirl and her team. However, since this time we have since learned some other rather-valuable information about him; he may have been responsible for the death of Alex’s father, and to go along with that, there’s also the creepy thing with the red eyes.

The Cyborg speculation is probably going to continue for a little while, so don’t expect that to come up anytime soon. However, Monday night’s new episode will feature Hank in a position where Alex will start to worry about him thanks to circumstances and Kara losing her powers. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, David Harewood had the following to say about his character:

“They’re trapped in the DEO … Alex is very worried that this guy is going to repeat what he did last time, which is people mysteriously die and he’s the only one left. I think she’s scared that that’s what’s going to happen to her.”

The only thing that we can really say about that at the moment is that it’s not particularly likely that something is going to be happening to Alex in the near future, if for no other reason than that Hank probably still needs her for a little while. We simply cannot imagine him making any sort of big move to shake up suspicion right after Supergirl arriving to National City and starting to figure out how her powers work.
