‘The Amazing Race 27’ episode 10 preview: A wedding in India

Let’s start this particular “Amazing Race” preview article by saying this: We really hope that the teams are not helping with an actual Indian wedding on Friday night’s new episode. How incredibly awkward would that be, especially if you have teams showing up who are fighting with each other? (See Logan & Chris; they’ve fought everywhere else, so we don’t think we’re making too big of a leap in logic to assume that they will probably be fighting here as well.)

In the sneak peek below, you can specifically see Kelsey & Joey try to help out the wedding for one of the tasks in the episode. We’ve been very hard on some of these India legs on the show over the years, mostly because for the most part they don’t often have a lot of variety, and we feel like we’ve seen so many similar ones over the years. At least this is different!

Also, it’s funny to hear Joey & Kelsey try to compare this to their own potential wedding someday. We really do think that these two are getting the sort of edit right now that typically is indicative of a winning pair. Sure, Justin & Diana have been one of the most-dominant teams in “Amazing Race” history to date, but there are so many examples over the years of a team who performs really strongly, but they get tripped up either on the final leg or right before it. The reporters probably are the best shot that that the show has of having a winner who is not the Green Team at this point.
