ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 8 preview: The quest to ‘save’ Madeleine Stowe’s Victoria
There is no question that Victoria Grayson has done some horrible, horrible over the past few seasons of “Revenge,” and with that in mind, it is very well understandable if you were to question whether or not she is someone worth saving when the chips are down.
With all of that being said, Emily Thorne’s actions in this moment could shape her relationship with David Clarke forever moving forward. The sneak-peek video below shows Emily VanCamp’s character standing over David while he tries to help Madeleine Stowe’s longtime villain survive what seems to be an electrocution, but rather than following his clear instructions to call 911 and get her help, she instead decides to just stand there. She doesn’t make a move, and due to that, it is possible that Victoria could go … in theory.
The reality here is that it doesn’t seem even remotely possible that Victoria is going anywhere. She is much to important to the entire series, and given her status as the chief villain, without her, Emily would not have any adversaries who were close to her level … unless you think that David is really hiding something.
We feel lie the question you should really be asking right now is if this in some way is the latest orchestration on the part of Victoria to attract sympathy at a time in which she desperately needed it. After all, this is the perfect distraction that could keep Emily and David from talking about so much of their lives.
