ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Boss on moments for Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic in huge wedding episode

You have been waiting for a long time to see Castle and Beckett get married, and the writers behind “Castle” are very much aware of that. While there are going to be many funny, imaginative scenes in the “what-if” portion of “Time of Our Lives” next week, there will also be the romance and the vows that you have been waiting to see. It’ll be a good bit crammed into the span of an hour, and hopefully it will be everything you are hoping for and then some.

Of course, trying to get the folks behind the scenes on the hour to share many details is a chore in itself, but showrunner / executive producer David Amann seems to be reasonably confident that what you end up seeing on this hour is going to be something pretty great. Just take a look at what he had to say on the subject to TVLine:

“I don’t know what the length of the actual wedding is, but I will say that having seen it, it is a really beautiful moment for the two characters, and for the series itself. I think it’s going to meet — or hopefully exceed — the expectations of the folks watching the show.”

There are a few other little issues that were addressed during this interview as well, including that “Once Upon a Time in the West” is an undercover case more so than a honeymoon (they haven’t actually been on one), and that you will see hints of the long-running Castle mystery in the winter finale, and then for a few other episodes most-likely in the February sweeps.
