ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Fitz asks about [spoiler]

On Thursday night’s new episode of “Scandal,” we are certainly going to see a very difficult hour of TV for one President Fitzgerald Grant. What’s the reason for that? Well, it’s very simple: he’s got a major mole crisis on his hands, and not the kind that pops up on your back.

In a previous sneak peek, we took a quick look at how he is going to try and cover some of his tracks courtesy of an impromptu press conference, where he admits fault for putting Osbourne into a very high-ranking position of power in the first place. As for this video, it’s more about a sit-down meeting between himself and Cyrus … and the subject matter is certainly going to be surprising. Tony Goldwyn’s character asks Cyrus if James has allowed him to come back home, which is something that Cyrus is pretty shocked about, at least in terms of that the President even knew what was going on with him.

This episode will feature James for the first time since the time jump earlier this spring, and it also going to feature the Gladiators embarking on a rather spur-of-the-moment mission. Why? While the video does not get into details, it is revealed that Osbourne is not actually the mole, and thus David is still in danger ever second that he is out in the world an unprotected.
