Here’s a story we never thought that we would right — the FX Networks Deadpool animated series may not have happened simply because of Taylor Swift. Or, to be more specific, an episode of the show that may have been about the singer in some shape or form.
Suffice it to say, Donald Glover has a few things on his mind after the decision by himself, Stephen Glover, FX Networks, and Marvel to part ways on a Deadpool project that was long in development.
While there may be a lot of cool stuff happening this weekend at Wondercon out in Anaheim, unfortunately we do come today bearing some rather-bad news when it comes to the once-planned animated series set to revolve around Deadpool over on FX: It doesn’t appear to be happening.
