‘Homeland’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Are Brody and Carrie together in ‘Horse and Wagon’?
In case watching tonight’s “Homeland” season 3 episode was not enough to make it clear for you, Damian Lewis is back in the picture. This is great news for the show, which has dangled that Brody carrot for quite a long time now. But there are more questions that are worth asking beyond just if Brody is going to be able to be an asset. We also have to wonder whether or not he and Carrie now have some sort of demented future together.
The last time that we saw Claire Danes’ character in action on the show, we saw Carrie try her best to get Brody in a position where he could survive and wait out the process of having his name cleared. We know that she loves him, but there is quite a big difference between loving him and actually being able to be with him longer than just a few days.
Well, Brody and Carrie ARE single now, but there are quite a few other objectives that need to be worked out if they are ever able to be together at the end of the day. The next few episodes are of course going to be completely intense, especially when you consider everything that needs to be resolved. You also have to add to this a major sense of urgency for one Saul Berenson. He knows that there is only so much time that he has to complete what he needs to before losing his post at the CIA, and there quite a few obstacles that need to be taken care of.
