‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 6 video: Boss on Jaime King, Rachel Bilson challenges
Next week’s “Hart of Dixie” season 3 episode is entitled “Family Tradition,” and we could be staring in the face of a pair of stories that could radically change the way in which two of our favorite characters on the show are perceived … at least according to what executive producer / creator Leila Gerstein explains in the new preview video below.
The first person facing a challenge here? Zoe. Rachel Bilson’s character originally came to BlueBell thanks to a connection to her past in the Wilkes family, but it is a connection that she has since ignored and tried to stay away from. So when is there an opportunity to actually utilize this connection to her advantage? Let’s just say that Zoe does not think that anyone is going to roll out the welcome wagon for her. The story that we’re talking about here is her interest in renting one of their properties with her boyfriend Joel, but her feeling that there is a 0% chance that they would ever want to have her as a tenant. She either is going to have to be at the Wilkes’ mercy, or try to find a different place to live that is not their local bed and breakfast. There really are not too many other options out there.
As for Lemon, her opportunity is a big one in a different way as she may have an opportunity to get away from the Rammer Jammer for a while, and try her luck at a very different sort of business opportunity elsewhere. This is what we like to call (at least for now) the story that writes Jaime King out of the show for the time being. She can’t very well be making appearances on the show while on maternity leave, but in shipping her off potentially to work at a new establishment, you can presume that her character is growing as a person and learning more. If you are going to get rid of someone for a while, isn’t this one of the best ways to do so?
You can get a sense at what other families are involved in this episode here, and one of them could have quite a few things to say here before the end about the ongoing rivalry that exists between Auburn and the University of Alabama.
