ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 premiere spoilers: See big Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion scene (video)

You’ve been waiting for it all summer long, and we at least have part of it to share with you now: The much-hyped post-proposal scene from next week’s season 6 premiere of “Castle.” Clearly, you have been waiting for an answer, and you’ll be having to wait for one for a little while longer. However, the video below at least gives you some sort of hope that these two are going to try and figure out a way in which to make their lives work as an engaged couple.

Let’s start this by talking for a few minutes about how we got here: Rick, realizing that this was the moment to prove to Kate that he wanted her to be with him forever (as she needed a commitment), got down on one knee and asked the question that so many have been yearning for an answer for: “Will you marry me?” So was Beckett warm to the idea? She at least seemed happy to hear the question asked.

However, Stana Katic does a good job here of playing this happiness straight into trepidation. While she seems overjoyed to get the proposal, there also does appear to be a problem, and something that she needs to tell Nathan Fillion’s character about before being able to say yes. This is something that is very easy to speculate about, but it is pretty easy (at least from this perspective) to say that it involves what exactly is going to happen with the job in Washington DC.

Hopefully, this scene will be enough of an appetizer for you for what happens next, and just remember this: There is going to be another twist coming up on this episode, and it is one that very few people are currently talking about.
