‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Damian Lewis talks Brody’s ‘salvation,’ story ahead

“Homeland” season 3 is looking more and more to be one complicated year of television, and for the character of Nicholas Brody, what we are going to see can be best described as an exercise in mystery. Not only is Brody off in whereabouts unknown, but nobody in the world of the show is going to know where the guy’s head is at. Is he really going to be interested in working with people who basically sold him out and turned him into a scapegoat? It’s a good question that will hopefully be answered as we start to dig a little bit deeper into the show.

The video below really serves a pair of important purposes. Not only does it allow for a little more insight when it comes to the season ahead, but it is also a nice recap of the character, why Damian Lewis loves playing him, and what his relationship is like with Carrie. If you’re not a fan of the show and have merely heard about it from others, this is a nice way to get started if you don’t have a good 24 hours of your life open to get through two seasons.

The biggest thing to remember is that you’re not going to see or hear from Brody at all until episode 3, and by the time that you do get to see him, you will know definitively that his family is in dire straits thanks to what the government is doing to them.
