‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: More assorted details about the premiere
It’s a time to feel both happy and sad if you are a viewer of Showtime. While the great news for you today is that “Homeland” is only a matter of three and a half weeks away from premiering, “Dexter” will be ending its run in three episodes. Tear.
But we are going to try to focus a little more on the positive here, and talk about first some official news: Showtime’s synopsis for the premiere. Are you ready for it? Be sure that you are sitting down, and ready for your jaw to hit the floor in the biggest shock to end all shocks:
“Brody remains at large. Saul plots a counterstrike.”
Seriously, that’s it? That’s the “be sure to drink your Ovaltine” of synopses. It basically teaches you nothing in terms of new information, given that we have known for weeks now that Brody will not be appearing on the show until the third episode airs.
Since we don’t want you to leave here feeling slighted by this terrible synopsis, here are a few other things to think about when you watch this episode.
1. Just because Brody is gone does not mean that he is forgotten. While you would think that Jess or Carrie may have it the worst without him, you would be wrong.
2. Saul’s counterstrike is just a small piece to an overall puzzle for him, and the ramifications for what he does this week is severe.
3. Quinn also has a story in this episode that is emotional, and may give you more insight into who he is.
