ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: The debate over Ryan’s baby

Are you going to get an opportunity to meet more of a certain someone’s family on “Castle” season 6? Based on what we are hearing right now, it certainly sounds like it’s possible that we could see a certain child of one Detective Ryan by the end of the fall portion of this season.

This news comes to us courtesy of executive producer / creator Andrew W. Marlowe, who tells Entertainment Weekly that this is could be happening. However, given that he claimed that the writers were just starting to get into that, it is very well possible that whatever plan that they come up with here is still in the early stages, and while the plan for now seems to be to show his child, that may not last forever.

Much of the past couple of years has been about the slow progression of Ryan’s personal life, starting with his wedding to Jenny, and then the news near the end of this past season that the two were going to be expecting. What is going to be just as interesting as his own relationship here is seeing how a certain pal of his in Esposito reacts. These are two guys who are very much used to going out and getting drinks after solving a big case, and now there’s that little something known as responsibility that could get in the way at some point.
