‘Nashville’ season 2 spoilers; Take a look at the first promo!

Let’s all give ABC a round of applause, shall we? They’ve got a rather sleek promo out there already for the second season of “Nashville,” which is pretty impressive when you consider just how early they managed to get this out there.

On the first season of the show, there was a little bit of everything: Drama, betrayal, romance, tragedy, and even a proposal at one point. Now, the second season is going to throw all of this at you once again, and then ask some more questions to go along with it. For one, how do you compete against someone who is practically regarded as a saint by most people in the mainstream? Also, how do you continue to keep long-term success going in an industry where only a select few can?

While the show struggled at times in season 1 when it comes to all of the extraneous stuff that was not directly related to music, there is one thing that the show did an extremely fantastic job at: Painting the entire country music industry as a very intimidating place, and one that only the strongest souls could clash with. Based on some of the castings and guest characters that are coming up, it feels like the producers have learned more to play to their strengths this time, while giving some drama away from the music to supplement it.

“Nashville” will officially premiere on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we’re sure that there is going to be plenty more information to share prior to then. After all, Connie Britton and the rest of the cast will be doing many interviews in preparation for the new season, which should bleed into plenty of opportunities.
