‘Nashville’ season 2 spoilers: Connie Britton to have new love interest
Are you ready to see some sort of major shakeup from within the world of “Nashville”? Well, have no fear: The show is doing just about everything that it can to deliver.
Sources have confirmed that former “Rules of Engagement” star Oliver Hudson has landed a major recurring role on the ABC musical with, like his CBS comedy once was, is in need of a major ratings surge, where he will play the part of a businessman who is extremely ambitious, and willing to take whatever he wants. This includes trying to romance Connie Britton’s character of Rayna. There will be some drama that comes from his appearance on the show, and there are only two words that we can really say as a result of that: Thank you. This show needs to shake things up even more so than they currently are, and this is a guy who is capable of that.
Are there some other changes that “Nashville” needs? If we had it our way, we’d do away with some of the side-plots, even if the feelings is necessary that they establish the world a little bit more. These are going to be continuing, though, regardless of our opinion, and some notable new characters coming up including singing-competition contestants and some others who have dreamed of entering the country-music world since they were little girls. (Given how hard this industry is for women, good luck with that.)
Do you like this casting, and are you interested in seeing what someone else could be doing while trying to romance Connie’s character? We want to hear any and all of your thoughts below! Meanwhile, be sure to check out the story over here if you want to see everything else that is breaking in the “Nashville” world.
