‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: How Claire Danes’ Carrie will be impacted
Thanks to a little kind gesture known as Showtime sending out some of the press screeners for “Homeland” season 3 to critics this week, some early details are coming in now about the first two episodes … otherwise known as the ones that don’t feature Damian Lewis. Even though Brody is not going to be around, it is a mistake to say that there will not be something of interest that takes place on the show itself.
According to TV Guide, much of the story early on will be dealing with the course of the events that started with the attack on Langley last season. You have Brody’s family trying to pick up the pieces, Carrie adjusting to life without Brody around as her mission, and Saul having to make a bold, emotional decision between Claire Danes’ character and his job at the CIA.
One of the biggest surprises of the episodes could come from Dana, who decides to show a very different side to her personality in the wake of her father being accused of unspeakable crimes. Last year, she was one of the few people who wanted to believe him, and that got her effectively nowhere. So will she keep up the charade, or try some sort of other technique to get others to understand her point of view? One thing’s for sure: She has been through more at her age than most people go through pretty much their whole lives.
Is there anything in particular that you’re pulling to see on the “Homeland” season 3 front? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts with a comment below! Meanwhile, take a look here for some other updates straight from Showtime and their promotional department.
