‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: First look at Damian Lewis’ runaway Brody
Earlier this week, it was first confirmed by Showtime that Nicholas Brody is going to be missing in action at the start on “Homeland” season 3. How much so? To be specific, the actor is not going to be in either one of the show’s first two episodes. This is always a nerve-wrecking decision on the part of any network, being that you want to throw yourself out into the abyss and hope that everyone watching ends up liking and respecting your decision.
When it comes to the Brody character, the first image that we have from the show’s third episode (entitled “Tower of David”) is that he is going to at least be somewhere with a moderate climate, given he’s not exactly wearing long sleeves. His hood is also a key indicator that he does not want to be recognized, just so that he can go about his life the way in which that he wants to … which is alive. (Seriously, at this point someone is bound to shoot him if he ever starts to blab about who he is.)
While Brody and Claire Danes’ Carrie are going to start off this season apart, there’s no guarantee at all that it will stay that way forever. It’s clear that they love each other enough to sacrifice almost everything in the known galaxy so that they can stay together, so we’re sure that they will continue to do some more crazy things that seem illogical to the rest of us in an effort to make this relationship work.
What’s your take on this image: Is Brody creepy, goofy-looking, or really in need of some longer sleeves to keep this hood from looking so out-of-place? If you want to read some more scoop in relation to “Homeland” season 3, our advice is to hit up the story over here.
