‘Supernatural’ season 9: Early episodes shooting out of order
Who doesn’t like a little bit of confusion to kick off the “Supernatural” season 9 production cycle? Even though filming still has yet to begin, we are starting to hear that those trying to directly follow along the shooting patterns to when certain episodes will air are going to be pretty confused rather quickly.
What we are hearing now (via producer Jim Michaels and other sources) is that the show will be filming out of order early on, which means that they may either be trying to accommodate certain actors by shooting their episodes first, or using a location that will not be available later. (There are a number of reasons why this can be done, but it is typically related to convenience in some way.)
As for if this will impact the supposed title of “Devil May Care” for the first episode, SpoilerTV is standing by their report that this was the name sent out by casting agencies. At the end of the day, though, it is still better to not fall in love with the name as it could be for the first episode that is being filmed, but actually the second or third to air; or, you have to remember that this is a show that is known to change their titles later on down the road. Remember, there was an episode last year originally titled “The Apple Dumpling Gang,” but it was later changed to something a little bit more current in “Freaks and Geeks.”
“Supernatural” season 9 will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, October 15. If you want to read some more news related to the show’s production and shift to their filming city of Vancouver, all you have to do is check out the story over here.
