‘Big Brother Canada’ speculation: Who could Topaz nominate?
If you are going through “Big Brother Canada” live feed withdrawals, you’re not alone: it was a pretty excruciating decision to have the feeds gone for this holiday weekend, even if they are understandably working out some twist for Sunday’s show. (Remember, it’s a lot harder to complain about things that are free; if we were paying for this we’d be off in a picket line somewhere.)
Before we get into some speculation about Topaz’s Head of Household reign, let’s start with Suzette in case you’re wondering about the lack of an exit interview today. Thanks to it being Good Friday, media day will not take place until early next week. So don’t read anything into the fact that there is not anything happening with her for the time being, and we’ll let you know later on if there is any information that we are able to disclose.
Now, let’s look at the four most-likely people for Topaz to be putting on the block this coming week. We don’t really want to rank them, since there could be a number of interesting factors that play into this decision. We’re positive that she will not put up Gary as her alliance partner, and we’d also be somewhat surprised if she targeted Peter given that he dos not directly impact her game too much right now.
Andrew – This could be one of the easier choices for Topaz to make. He’s not a huge threat, and there wouldn’t really be anyone gunning after her that isn’t already. We’d put AJ on this list, too, but who is really going to try to get AJ out of the house?
Talla – This is another easy move. If she decides to play this conservatively and give her more time to sleep, she and Andrew are pretty easy nominees.
Emmett – Now, things get a little more interesting. Could she put up Jillian? Sure, but there’s not so much to gain here. She must know that Emmett is close to the guys, but he’s not a part of her four-way alliance with Gary, Alec, and Peter. He’s a huge physical threat, but since he’s so likable everyone is afraid of putting him up. Isn’t this the time to do so?
Alec – This, of course, is the most interesting scenario. If she was to put Alec on the block, she’d have to put him next to someone that would ensure that he went home. It’s something she did talk about last week, given that he was annoying her and is a threat to Gary’s game. But ultimately, we think that it’s still a little early for this move and she won’t end up doing it.
Who do you think Topaz will nominate? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can read our full review of Thursday night’s episode over at the link here.

I have a question. When the house guests are competing for HOH, are they notified (via ear monitors etc.) of who has won ‘before’ it is announced?? I ask this because I noticed that Topaz got really excited and jumped down off the steps ‘before’ it was stated that she won. I understand her getting excited because she had just heard the answer (and she got it correct), but why would she jump down. How did she know that Talla also didn’t have that answer?! What am I missing here??

With Topaz being HOH and Gary’s power the duo can make a HUGE move in getting Alec of Emmet out. It is clear that Topaz loyalty lies with Gary and that is where it should stay. Getting Tallah out would be a dumb move for Topaz because Tallah is no threat to her.

If she is smart, she will put up Emmett and Jillian. It is time to get one of them, especially Emmett, out of the game. If she were to do that, could Gary not use his special power to ensure that Emmett couldn’t play POV?
