‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Who’s looking to cut their showmance?

It’s been an interesting past day or so in the “Big Brother Canada” house, especially as we are starting to see where everyone’s true priorities seem to lie. While showmances may be fun and all, at the end of the day there is a game to be played … and there are a few residents of the house that are really starting to realize that more than others.

For one example of this, take a look at the evolution of The Shield. While Alec and Peter were first with Tom and Liza, they ultimately decided to let them both go since they were major competitors in the game. Now, they are talking about getting both Topaz and Gary on the block at the same time. Despite making out with her (and seeing her cause him to lose his iPod privileges), he realizes that these two are a dangerous pair, especially since they want someone out in Andrew who is turning out to be their new goat. Andrew has not really been much of a competitor at all, and both guys probably realize that they could beat him in the end easier than either Gary or Topaz.

As for when they plan on making good on this plan, they could still be waiting a while. The plan remains for Emmett to not use the Power of Veto this week, and given that Peter seems to have little to know interest at all in winning Head of Household, we are looking at something that is two weeks down the road unless Andrew wins this coming week. The only other hope they have is convincing either Emmett or Jillian to do something like this, which is possible given that there should be another endurance challenge coming up soon.
