‘The Good Wife’ season 4, episode 19 : ‘Homeland’s’ Morena Baccarin returns
While we are hoping to see more of Morena Baccarin on “Homeland” season 3 this fall, for the time being we have something else to get excited about: seeing her return to “The Good Wife” as Isobel. This is a character who seems to at least be similar to Jess Brody in one way: she gets herself mixed up in some rather complicated marriages, and you know that there is very little chance that things are going to legitimately end well. The only good news here? That she has some pretty talented people around her here to back her up.
This episode, entitled “The Wheels of Justice,” is going to air next week, and the implications of killing are pretty strong just based on the official promo. In case you have not seen the synopsis for this episode yet, you can do so below:
“Alicia and Will go to trial unprepared when they learn that an impending Supreme Court ruling could result in Colin Sweeney being jailed for life. Also, Diane reunites with Kurt McVeigh but is forced to reevaluate the relationship.”
This episode is following up a series of other strong installments on CBS, and the overall critical perception right now is that this show has somehow managed to rise above the abyss that it stated to fall into creatively early on during season 4. We won’t bring up the storyline-that-shall-not-be-named, but we will instead choose to highlight the fact that there has been some great work lately featuring the likes of Michael J. Fox, Carrie Preston, and most recently John Noble.
