‘Mad Men’ season 6: Jon Hamm ‘knows’ how the season will end
In the past it has been nearly impossible to get information about “Mad Men” before it’s premiere, show runner Matthew Weiner runs a fairly tight ship when it comes to revealing secrets or spoilers about the show, and although Weiner and the cast have revealed a little more about the “Mad Men” season 6 story line this year then in years past, the cast is still being very cautious when it comes to talking about what’s coming up this season.
At the premiere party for “Mad Men” season 6 everyone was in attendance including January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, John Slattery, Jessica Pare, Christina Hendricks and of course Don Draper himself, Jon Hamm. While Hamm didn’t reveal any real spoilers about the show, he did tell Reuters that the cast was excited to be back and working on the series. He said: “It is very exciting. We’ve been working on it for quite some time, we started back in October. We’ve been off the air for quite some time , so it’s good to get it back out there. I think there’s a healthy amount of anticipation that will be well founded and we are very excited.”
Hamm went on to say that, because they are almost done filming, he knows how it’s all going to end for Don Draper and company this season. He teased: “We are almost done shooting the season, so I know how it all turns out, so hopefully people will enjoy watching it.”
“Mad Men” season 6 returns to AMC on Sunday, April 7th at 9 p.m., so be sure to tune in for a special 2 hour premiere where we will finally learn if Don Draper actually had an affair with that woman he met at the bar during the finale of “Mad Men” season 5.
