‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: The latest alliance chatter
When you have an eviction that is seemingly as much of a done deal as the one in the “Big Brother Canada” house this week, it’s pretty easy for some of the houseguests to get mired in useless chitter-chatter. After all, what else are they going to do except for make out with each other (ugh), ponder the next Head of Household Competition, and wonder how they are being portrayed on TV. (In this department, our favorite quote is Tom saying that he doesn’t want to be a villain, mostly because that is all he has been for most of the season.)
So since it is almost assured that Suzette will be leaving in a unanimous decision Thursday (as she has no real alliance, or even anyone interested in keeping her), let’s try to figure out just where the number lies.
-The nine people obviously still in power are Tom, Emmett, Peter, Alec, Topaz, Liza, Jillian, Andrew, and Talla, which is the way that it has been since last week. However, there are obvious divisions in there: Tom, Emmett, Peter, and Alec have their secret “Quatro” thing going on, and there are also showmances between Tom / Liza, Emmett / Jillian, and Tom / Liza. (Some people want there to be one between Peter and Talla, but it hasn’t happened yet.)
-Some people within this nine are targeting each other, as Tom seems more interested in keeping Gary now over Andrew, and some other houseguests would prefer to see Aneal make it to the nine over Talla. There is a girls’ alliance of Talla, Liza, and Jillian, but thus far it has been fairly useless.
-Liza is clearly the person in the most danger of overplaying her hand, as she has tight bonds with multiple people and is telling everyone different things. She is probably closer to Aneal right now than almost anyone else.
-Topaz still has a bond with Gary, and one of the other intriguing pacts at the moment is AJ and Andrew (who really need each other right now based on the writing on the wall).
For the sake of excitement, the best thing that can happen with this game is to see someone like Gary, AJ, or Aneal win HoH this coming week, since an Emmett or Jillian win would be more of the same at this point. This house desperately needs a shakeup, since the idea of watching the nine cruise is a definite yawner.
