Every season with “Dancing with the Stars,” we have a tradition here of pointing out the classy (and the hilarious) promotional photos that ABC releases of the celebrities with their partners. Traditionally, these photos look like the show took the pairs to a local high school, got them ready for picture day, and then had them do goofy and uncomfortable poses. The photographer was top-notch for what they were trying to do, but the background was so blank it really looked like it was dancers in front of a void.
The good news? The producers have changed up their style for the upcoming season. The bad news? There are not as many unintentionally-funny portraits this time around. It is already clear just what all of the celebrities are going for when it comes to their style: Lisa Vanderpump wants to be powerful, Victor Ortiz athletic, and D.L. Hughley a giant goofball.
