Is ‘Teen Mom 2’ getting canceled thanks to Jenelle Evans?
Many stories are often either just true or false, but we have a feeling that the one we are about to discuss falls somewhere in the middle.
According to a report from the New York Post, MTV has decided that they are going to cancel “Teen Mom 2” after four seasons … and one of the primary reasons why is because they are tired of displaying the antics of Jenelle Evans both on and off of the show for everyone to see. Over the past several years Evans has dealt with legal problems, bad boyfriends, issues with her mother and former employers, Twitter drama, a wedding, and now even a pregnancy. It’s a lot of publicity, and when it seems like all your life is to the public is negativity, it is not exactly good publicity.
While a rep for MTV tells Gossip Cop that no decision has been made on a season 5 of the show (season 4 premieres later this year), we are personally betting the show does end, but not so much because of Evans. The original “Teen Mom” lasted four seasons, and at a certain point the moms are really not teens anymore. MTV already has a “Teen Mom 3” coming up, and if they really wanted to extend the life of Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry, and Chelsea Houska, why not just fire Jenelle? The show does not really need her in order to continue.
For her part, Evans tweeted a message early Tuesday saying not to believe any “rumors” that are floating around … and only time will tell if these rumors end up becoming fact.
What do you think about these stories, and should “Teen Mom 2” end? If you want to read some more about Jenelle’s antics, you can do so over at the link here.

They should go ahead and fire Chelsea too.
