‘The Bachelor’: Emily Maynard takes heat for Sean Lowe, won’t appear again
While Sean Lowe is riding high at the moment as the star of “The Bachelor,” the woman who famously rejected him on “The Bachelorette” is currently getting a little bit of a different treatment from the show’s diehard fans. Emily Maynard clearly has not had it easy since picking Jef Holm on the show this past summer: the two broke up a matter of months later, and she has also been the target of some passive-aggressive verbal attacks by some of the former contestants from her season online.
So what’s happening now? Basically, Emily has been bashed for sending Sean home, with many Twitter fans almost mocking her by saying that watching this season probably makes her regret keeping Jef and Arie Luyendyk Jr. as her final two. Luckily, she does seem to be keeping a largely-positive attitude about the whole ordeal, and even told Sean weeks ago that her dumping him was the best thing that she could have done for his life now.
As for whether or not seeing Sean has made Emily interested in being “The Bachelorette” again, it hasn’t. Despite some rumors claiming that she wants to give handing out roses on more time, she told a fan earlier this week on Twitter that she is not interested in going on the show for what would be a third time:
“I personally wouldn’t [go on it again] but I would encourage anyone else to do it! One of the best experiences of my life!”
The sad part about this franchise, of course, is that since Jason Mesnick ended up with Molly Malaney, six out of the seven Bachelors and Bachelorettes ended up not finding their true love on the show. As a matter of fact, most of their dating lives are now a mystery, and some of them, including Jake Pavelka, have said that going on the show makes it impossible now to date people.
How do you think Emily feels now while watching Sean’s season? If you want to read our full review of Monday night’s show, you can do so here.

Give me a break!! People know by now what they are getting into when they sign up for this show. The first season or two, not so much, but it is evident now (after all these years) what being on the show can and cannot do for one’s life.
I cannot even believe the show would consider Emily again – or Kacie after last night. Two strikes per person and you are OUT IMO – time to get a real life.
