‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: First look at Kripke’s return
“The Big Bang Theory” has been on a creative and ratings roll as of late, and when the show does return with new episodes at the end of the month, it will be doing so with some one who could be drawing many more nostalgic viewers of the show: Kripke. While he is not somebody who has been around since the show’s beginning, one of Sheldon’s co-workers and rivals has long been an entertaining presence. We love his Elmer Fudd-like voice and some of the antics that he frequently gets himself involved in, which are typically ways in which to get under Sheldon’s skin.
Sadly, we do not know just why John Ross Bowie’s character is coming on board the show now, though the photo to the left does suggest we will see more of the same when it comes to the rapport between the two characters. Sheldon is clearly upset over something that Kripke points out to him, which causes him to spring into action and defend his magic whiteboard from the likes of prying eyes. (This is our story of what is happening, and we’re sticking to it!)
This is the first appearance by Kripke on the season, and it comes after the show has already brought back some other past characters including Wil Wheaton and Stuart the comic book store owner (who is actually listed as a regular). That is one of the reasons why “The Big Bang Theory” has done so well: its found a group of familiar faces who can recur, and are likable enough for fans to keep asking for them back.
