‘Family Guy’ can’t stop talking about ‘Breaking Bad’ or ‘The Wire’
Is “Breaking Bad” the greatest show on television? It certainly seems that way if you ask anyone who watches it. Fans cannot stop talking about “Breaking Bad” and constantly tell everyone they know that if they haven’t seen the show, that they should definitely start watching it (we admit that we do this too) so when we heard that “Family Guy” was spoofing the “Breaking Bad” phenomenon we were excited to see what they were going to do with it.
In the below clip from an upcoming episode of “Family Guy” season 11, episode 9, we see Peter being hypnotized by his television into not only believing that “Breaking Bad” is the greatest show on the planet (besides The Wire), but that he has to tell everyone he knows just how amazing the show is and that they have to start watching it immediately if not sooner.
As fans of “Breaking Bad” we completely understand the spin that “Family Guy” took on the show, since we have a hard time not talking about the series ourselves, but what we’d love to see is “Family Guy” do a “Breaking Bad” spoof and see what they can do with the material. Take a look at the new clip below and tell us if you agree or disagree with their assessment of their fans. And speaking of “Breaking Bad” if you want to know how Giancarlo Esposito’s life has changed since being on the show then you have to check out our story here.
A brand new episode of “Family Guy” will be airing on Fox on Sunday, January 13th at 9 p.m. so be sure to tune in.
