‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Regina vs. the law
“Once Upon a Time” season 2 will finally return to ABC after more than a month off on Sunday, and with that we hope to have an answer to a question that everyone has been wondering ever since the official synopsis for “The Cricket Game” was first announced: why on earth would Regina kill a Storybrooke resident at this very moment? While she seemed both hurt and angry about not getting any credit for helping Emma and Mary Margaret return to town, it also makes little sense for her to just discreetly murder someone at this very moment.
Of course, you also have to remember one thing here when it comes to this show: if Regina killing someone was the only part of the story here, there is no way whatsoever that it would have been included in the synopsis. With this in mind, we turn to the show’s executive producer in Edward Kitsis, who had the following to say on this very subject to TV Guide:
“We can tell you that Regina will be accused of killing one of Storybrooke’s characters … There’s always more than meets the eye. What we shall see is what and how.”
At some point, we’re sure that we are going to see Regina embrace her “Evil Queen” roots in some shape or form … but why now? This is a worthy question, and one that this show is hopefully going to be able to answer in the weeks ahead. At the moment, it appears as though you could feasibly blame the arrival of Cora for whatever problems Regina faces. After all, you know that this woman is going to pose all sort of trouble for just about everyone in the tiny Maine town.
What do you think is going to happen with “Once Upon a Time” moving forward? If you want to see who from the world of “Downton Abbey” is joining the show, you can do so over here.
